I am proud of you.

I've been going up Mt P every morning for over a year now so naturally I see some of the same people. One of them is Peter. He's an elderly gentleman (and I mean that in every sense of the word) who goes up every day except for Tuesdays and Thursdays when he's teaching radiology at the hospital. It takes him a couple hours and he's always got his ski poles with him. Sometimes he goes up with his friend Pat and Pat's dog.

This morning I passed them - we said our hellos as we do everyday and somehow Pat asked what I do. And that of course started a longer conversation so I walked down with them. I started sharing - MM, VTWIN - and then Pat said that Mercy does such a great job with their small business program. Lol - of course I share I'm on the board and low and behold --> he used to manage their money before it got moved over to ML/NK. Small world.

We continued chatting and discussing my long list until we got back down to our cars. We stopped at my car and Peter looked at me and said,

"I am proud of you."

He is such a kind, gentle, caring man. I thanked him, wished him a good day and got in my car and cried. His words touch me everyday and I feel so lucky to see him almost every morning.
