this post by Ryan Holiday made it's way into my inbox today. of course it resonated with me because I've been picking up the red plastic weed wacker line on Mt. Philo everyday. I went through the same thought process - it annoyed me so much that they would weed wack the sides of the roads and leave all this bright red plastic. So I decided that instead of complaining about it I was going to pick it all up. And it became an obsession! There may be a spot of red here and there - but I think for the most part we got it all. I saw we because John couldn't stop looking for it either.
